08 Oct New Mulberry at Heathrow Terminal 4
Thomas Interiors are very pleased to have recently completed and handed over a wonderful new retail facility for Mulberry in Terminal 4 International Departures Lounge.
The new Luxury boutique was officially opened on Wednesday 3rd October 2018 following the completion of a project which was carried out over a 6.5 week programme.
Thomas Interiors Site Supervisor, Tony Waistell stated;
The project was well presented based on Mulberrys new standardised finishes format and the M&E specification was undertaken by a regular TIL consultant which helped us enormously.
The build was very straight forward and we had a good interaction with the Hyphen (Architects) who were supportive throughout. We worked well with the German Millworkers to deliver their specialist designs which included cement faced wall panels. The site was small, but busy where we managed to programme “just in time deliveries” and labour resource for installation.
The feedback from Heathrow and the client have been positive and I was extremely pleased with the end result.
Tony’s sentiments were echoed by Thomas Interiors Electrical Supervisor, David Leahy, who said;
“It was great to be involved with such a prestigious client and I couldn’t have been happier with the end result.
The store is striking and we’ve received many compliments from passing passengers which is great, especially after all the effort the team put into the project.
We completed the Lighting, Power, Data, CCTV and Music systems within the unit which was a fantastic experience for some of our Apprentices. To ensure all these services met with Heathrow’s compliance we had a close working relationship with their Delivery Manager, Stella Costa. This helped the Project run smoothly from the outset.
We look forward to the next one!”
