16 Jul T2b Coaching Gate, Heathrow.
Thomas Interiors are pleased to announce the completion of the Terminal 2b Coaching Gate project at Heathrow Airport.
Working on behalf of Balfour Beatty, Thomas Interiors were employed to oversee the manufacture and installation of an external canopy, Architectural Metalwork and Glass Wall Linings.
The project was run over a twelve week programme, with the Thomas Interiors team reporting directly to Balfour Beatty, who were appointed as Principal Contractor.
Sailesh Kerai, Project Manager for Thomas Interiors stated;
Completing this project has been a real team effort and overall, we can be very proud of what has been achieved and the professionalism that has been exhibited.
Firstly, I would like to thank our Site Supervisor Joe Parker, who has been fantastic, liaising with the Balfour Beatty team, attending various daily site meetings, overseeing our team of sub-contractors and producing regular reports, required when undertaking a project of this nature.
I would also like to thank the team from Lidner Interiors, who worked with us on the installation of the steel and glass wall linings. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lidner were a late addition to our site team but their positive and consistent approach to the project meant that they were instrumental to the successful completion of the project.
Bernie Thomas, Managing Director of Thomas Interiors stated;
I would like to congratulate Sail, Joe and the team on a job well done. The feedback from our client has been very positive and I hope that we will be working with the team from Balfour Beatty again, in the very near future.
